ELC targets Christmas shoppers with nationwide pop-ups

Early Learning Centre is planning a series of short-term stores across the country to target Christmas shoppers. 

Brian Curran, head of group direct marketing for Mothercare, which owns the toy and games multiple, confirmed this by adding that five had already “popped-up”.

Spokeswoman Justine Allister said the temporary shops would enable the company to make its toys more accessible to customers in the build up to the winter holidays.

Commercial estate agent Savills has sourced six properties for the stores according to spokeswoman Laura Hamilton, who is working on the project.

She added: “We are looking for probably another ten to twelve properties across the country for Early Learning Centre.”
